We took some time to camp in Valentine, NE and cruise down the Niobrara River. Daisy loved the canoe trip! The weather was great, the water wasn't too cold, and the scenery was easy to enjoy.
Daisy spent a lot of the day hanging her head over the side of the canoe! I think she was looking for some fish! Ha!
Along the river were several waterfalls. Daisy liked to get out of the canoe and walk in the bushes sniffing for varmits!

Daisy liked to bark at the fireworks, while trying to get as close as possible without getting burned. After a few games of Bongoball and Horseshoes, we had light some big ones!

My brother, Shane, and his wife, Tammy, came in from San Diego for a few days over the 4th. It was good to see them, even though I just got back from there!

This picture is of the neighbor boys, Robert from across the street, and brothers Ethan and Austin from next door. They had a fun time with the fireworks and the games.

Sara's aunt and cousin, Jodi and Kelly, stopped by for some beverages and barbecue, as well as a good game of Bongoball! Nice form!
